Communication Expectations

(No-Show, Cancellations & Last-Minute Changes)

Clear and timely communication is essential to maintaining a reliable production network. When you accept a Sweep, you are making a professional commitment.

This article outlines expectations for cancellations, emergencies, and day-of changes.

After You Accept a Sweep

Once you select Accept, you are expected to:

  • Arrive on time

  • Complete the Sweep as scheduled

  • Deliver footage within the expected timeframe

Accepting a Sweep confirms your availability and commitment.

If You Need to Cancel

If an emergency prevents you from fulfilling an accepted Sweep:

  • Notify Support immediately

  • Provide as much advance notice as possible

  • Clearly explain the situation

The earlier you communicate, the better the platform can coordinate a replacement.

Repeated short-notice cancellations may affect future opportunities.

Day-Of Delays

If you are running late:

  • Notify Support immediately

  • Provide an updated arrival time

  • Communicate clearly and professionally

Do not assume minor delays will go unnoticed. Prompt communication helps manage customer expectations.

No-Show Policy

Failing to appear for an accepted Sweep without communication is considered a serious issue.

A no-show:

  • Disrupts customer production

  • Damages trust

  • May impact your standing within the network

If an emergency arises, immediate communication is required.

Customer-Initiated Changes

If a customer requests:

  • Schedule adjustments

  • Scope changes

  • Additional coverage

  • Location changes

Do not agree to changes independently.

Direct significant changes to Support to ensure they are properly documented and approved.

Professional Conduct

All communication should remain:

  • Clear

  • Respectful

  • Timely

  • Focused on solutions

Strong communication builds long-term trust and opportunity.

Why Communication Matters

Reliable communication:

  • Protects customer experience

  • Maintains production timelines

  • Strengthens your reputation within the network

  • Supports consistent assignment opportunities

Consistency and professionalism are key to continued success on the platform.
