How Credits Work

Credits are the unit used to purchase and allocate content production on Blended Sense. Understanding how credits work helps you plan projects, manage budgets, and choose the right purchasing option for your needs.

What Is a Credit?

A credit represents a standardized unit of production value within the Blended Sense platform.

Credits are used to:

  • Schedule Sweeps

  • Allocate production resources

  • Fund editing (when included)

  • Manage content activity over time

Rather than pricing each project differently, credits create a consistent system for ordering and budgeting.

How Credits Are Used

When you place an eligible order:

  • The required number of credits is deducted from your balance

  • Your remaining credit balance updates automatically

  • You can view usage from your Billing page

Credits are applied at the time of order confirmation.

Do All Orders Use Credits?

Not necessarily.

Customers can:

  • Use available credits

  • Pay directly by card or bank (if not using credits)

Credits are most useful for customers who:

  • Order content regularly

  • Want predictable budgeting

  • Prefer pre-purchased production units

Why Credit Pricing Varies

Credit pricing varies based on purchase type and customer tier. Factors that influence pricing include:

  • Retail vs bundle purchases

  • Enterprise agreements

  • Event-specific pricing

  • Special partnership agreements

Detailed pricing tiers are explained in the next article.

Managing Your Credit Balance

Your Billing page shows:

  • Current credit balance

  • Credits used

  • Transaction history

Understanding your balance helps ensure uninterrupted production.

Important Notes

  • Credits apply only to eligible orders

  • Credit pricing may differ by agreement type

  • Unused credits remain in your account according to your agreement terms
