How Revisions Work

When editing is included in your order, you’ll have an opportunity to review your content and request revisions before it’s finalized. Understanding how revisions work helps keep the process smooth and ensures your feedback is incorporated effectively.

This article explains the revision process at a high level, from review to final approval.

The Revision Lifecycle

Revisions follow a structured, three-stage flow:

  1. Review

  2. Feedback

  3. Final Approval

Each stage plays a role in moving your content toward completion.

Review

Once post-production is complete, your content will be marked as Ready for Review.

At this stage:

  • Edited assets are available for you to view

  • You can assess the content against your goals and expectations

  • No changes are made until feedback is submitted

This is your opportunity to evaluate how well the content aligns with your vision.

Feedback

After reviewing your content, you can provide feedback for revisions.

Effective feedback is:

  • Clear and specific

  • Focused on the agreed scope

  • Consolidated when possible

Examples of helpful feedback include:

  • Timing or pacing adjustments

  • Text or graphic changes

  • Minor visual refinements

Feedback outside the original scope may require additional coordination.

Final Approval

Once revisions are completed, your content will be resubmitted for approval.

At this stage:

  • You confirm that revisions have been addressed

  • The content is finalized

  • The order moves toward completion

Final approval indicates that the project meets expectations and no further changes are needed.
