How Videographer Invites Work
When a Sweep matches your profile and availability, you may receive an invitation to participate. Understanding how invites are sent and how they work helps you respond quickly and secure opportunities.
(Text & Email Notifications)
How Invites Are Sent
When a new Sweep becomes available:
- Invitations are sent to all matched videographers in parallel
- Notifications are typically delivered via email and/or text
- Each invite includes key details about the Sweep
Invites are time-sensitive and should be reviewed promptly.
First to Accept Secures the Spot
Sweep assignments operate on a first-accept basis.
This means:
- Multiple videographers may receive the same invitation
- The first videographer to accept secures the assignment
- Once all spots are filled, the Sweep closes
Timely responses increase your chances of booking.
What Happens When Spots Fill
If all available spots are filled before you respond:
- The Sweep will no longer be available to accept
- You may see an option to Join the Queue
Joining the queue allows you to be considered if a spot later becomes available.
Manual Matching & Platform Matching
Invites are sent based on platform matching criteria. In some cases, assignments may be distributed based on production needs and fit.
Matching processes may evolve over time as the platform continues to improve.
Important Notes
- There are no penalties for declining an invite
- Declining allows other videographers to accept
- Ignoring an invite may result in missed opportunities
Responding promptly helps keep scheduling efficient for everyone involved.
Why Timely Responses Matter
Quick responses:
- Help customers receive confirmations faster
- Improve scheduling efficiency
- Strengthen your reliability within the network
Consistency and responsiveness are key to ongoing opportunities.
